Yan enjoys working at the intersection of design, technology, and art, especially in digital and physical placemaking through spatial experience enhancement. As a multidisciplinary designer, she specialized in interactive and immersive space experiences.

Yan has over 10 years of combined experience in architectural design, landscape architecture, public art practice, interaction presentation using VR/AR technology, and digital experience design.

Yan worked at TEN Design as a design director from 2020 to 2021. She guides project teams from vague beginnings to managing deliverables. She helps clients formulate their visions and support cross-functional team members with design and research.
